In Racine County Wisconsin I sued my ex-girlfriend for 5200$ and won. Lien was placed on her house. Garnishment was also placed and went thru. After she realized the garnishment was coming from her check she immediately quit her job. After finding her at her next job and filing that garnishment she filed an objection a debtors answer I believe. She's claiming financial hardship claiming single mom but doesn't meet the poverty guidelines. She's dodged payment for almost a year now and believes she can now try to settle out of court, making minimal payments. But she hasn't given me a single dollar that wasn't taken from her by court order. Can she really get away with this?

Well the only way she can settle with you is if you agree to the settlement so I am not really sure what she is trying to do.
